The last few weeks I’ve been dealing with an annoying cold that turns into a cold and then goes away leaving me with small symptoms like a cough, or a sniffle, or the annoying sore throat. Right now it’s at a point where if I talk too long or too much I have to clear my throat… fun.

I’ve been tired a lot lately too – and having this odd little cold does me no good. I find myself with headaches towards the end of a work day, burning dry eyes, and sometimes just crabby. I’m looking forward to a few days off next week to do whatever and maybe not be glued to a computer in the same manner that I am on a regular 9 to 5 day. I don’t mind what I do and somehow I’m good at it, but staring at a screen all day is not good for my eyes and not good for my little brain.

I’m also starting to become disorganized, which is a bad sign, like I wasn’t really sure where my cellphone was all week and would hear it ring now and then with Twitter updates. I found it about 2 hours ago in the living room in a bag. That’s not like me. I usually know where it is even if I’m not in the same room. The ringer was also set to level 1 which is the lowest setting. It also looks like most of my friends chose to text me or call me during the week in which my phone was playing hide and seek.

Last night I was playing around looking for a new “What are you listening to” app that shares my itunes on my social networks because Audiozue has disappeared. Jen uses LastFM so I was looking at it… it doesn’t tell you much about itself, assumes you know already… and know how to use it… or it’s just badly designed from a user perspective and people have tolerated it. I hate sites that make me think and make me have to remember how I got to a certain page – and from what I know – that’s bad design. Even if the graphics are hot… if you can’t find your fucking way around – it is a sucky site.

HOWEVER — I found out that I’m on there, as an artist, and my songs are shuffled into playlists and radio stations. I’m not on Pandora *sniffle* or any other social network that is music geared. I think I made it onto LastFM cuz Jen has a few of my mp3s on her iTunes. So I did the responsible thing, I claimed myself as the manager/artist and uploaded a few tracks to get them into circulation. Some were cover songs… as this is what I’ve been doing for the last 6 yrs. I stopped writing songs a while ago cause I stopped whining on that level. I whine, just not like I did as a teenager/20-something. Now I whine about things like having to make dinner, throwing out garbage, etc.

So anyway, if you’re using LastFM – go browse for KM.

Mortal Kombat vs. DC (cuz sometimes you just need to kick some ass)

I got a cold and keep sneezing in these bursts of 4 or more… and then I’m winded. It’s like a cardio workout without the sweat. I’m afraid though I might sneeze out some brains or worse:

We have a new President and he’s one fucking cool guy. It’s amazing, historic, and in my opinion, the beginning of a new civil rights movement if we keep moving forward.
